PMCitizen™, a Global Dynamics Consulting initiative
From your first project to Certified PMP.
For graduates, working project managers, PMP Candidates and certified PMPs, the companies that develop them, and PMI Tanzania Chapter.
Your path to the PMP
Plan it like a project: where you are, and the next milestone.
Choose your education to see where your experience puts you.
Assumes your experience is within the last 10 years. PMI makes the final decision.
One professional community for project managers at every stage. Find where you stand in two questions, train with a GDC instructor, and grow with people who have been where you are.
Wherever you are, there’s a next step.
You don’t choose a label. Tell us your education and experience, and PMCitizen shows where you stand against PMI’s published requirements, and what to do next.
CAPM path
Graduates and students
No project experience yet? Start with the CAPM, PMI’s entry certification. It needs no project experience, and GDC’s Master Class gives the training hours it asks for.

Leading projects, but not there yet? Log your projects and count every month toward the PMP. The CAPM is open to you in the meantime.

Experienced project leads
You have the experience. What’s left is 35 hours of training, and GDC’s five-day Master Class gives you all of them.

From the first two questions to the credential, the PMCitizen Office, your instructor and your coach each own a part of the way.
- 1
Find your path
Two questions on your education and experience. See where you stand against PMI’s published requirements, and whether the PMP or the CAPM comes first.
- 2
Admission
The PMCitizen Office follows up, sends your proposal and invoice, and confirms your place in a class.
- 3
Five-day Master Class
Live with a GDC instructor. Attend all five days to earn 35 contact hours: what the PMP asks for, and more than the CAPM needs.
- 4
Coaching and practice
Three months of coaching: group sessions, timed mock exams and readiness reviews that show when you are ready.
- 5
The PMP exam
You apply to and sit the exam with PMI. Your coach helps you judge the right moment to book it.
- 6
Certified PMP
Share your verified credential, track PDUs for renewal, and give back as a mentor to the next class.
Five days that count, and three months that carry you to the exam.
- Five days of live, instructor-led training, in person or online
- A certificate for the 35 contact hours, verifiable online by anyone
- Three months of coaching after the class, with a PMP coach
- Timed mock exams and practice by domain, with explanations
- A private class space, then the wider PMCitizen community
- Employer sponsorship: proposals, invoices and purchase orders handled by the Office
Not yet eligible for the PMP? The same 35 hours cover the CAPM, so the class counts from day one.

Certificate of completion
PMP Master Class, 35 contact hours
This certifies that
Your name
PMI sets the exam requirements and certifies PMPs. GDC’s certificate confirms the contact hours you attended.
A professional community, not a social feed.
Graduates, working project managers, PMP Candidates, coaches and certified PMPs, from every field. Ask about a real project situation and see how others would handle it: the approach map shows the spread of thinking, not who is right.
Monday
A real situation
An instructor posts a scenario. Members answer in their own words: what would you do first, and why?
Wednesday
The reveal
See how everyone approached it, how the PMBOK® Guide frames it, and the steps a PMP would take.
Friday
Lessons learned
Members share what a real project taught them. Verified wins, like a passed exam, are celebrated.

Verify a PMCitizen certificate
Employers and PMI auditors can check any certificate. Scan its QR code, or enter the code printed on it.
Wherever you start, start here.
Two questions show where you stand and your next step: the PMP now, or the CAPM first. The PMCitizen Office takes it from there.
